Karl is a proud Aboriginal man from the Northern Territory. He’s also lived in Western Australia, Queensland and SouthAustralia, and experienced many of the challenges that Aboriginal communities go through today. He’s an ex-smoker, and has seen the direct impact on his family, finances, health and social wellbeing. Karl has structured his working career around addiction, mental health counselling and disability for the past 20 years, and is currently studying a Master of Narrative Therapy while working full-time as a Quitline Counsellor.
